About

Allison’s Kitchen was established in 2010 spurred on by demand from discerning independent shops and cafes for home style handmade cakes and traybakes. Founded by husband and wife  William & Allison Winterburn together with father and son Chris & Jamie Alder, family member Rebecca  joined the company as production manager during the first COVID lockdown in 2020 as Chris retired. 


Rebecca worked alongside us to learn the craft of baking and was soon making wonderful handmade creations. She now manages a small team of skilled and dedicated cake makers in our bakery in North Devon who love what they do, take pride in the product and have fun every day!


We believe that cakes are a treat and for that reason they should taste fantastic so our recipes use high quality ingredients such as real butter, free range eggs and the finest Belgian chocolate. Our sponges are light and moist and we are famous for our four flavour Pic & Mix cake which is a real crowd pleaser! Great for families where everyone likes different things.

Sustainability

Our packaging is fully recyclable. Where possible we recycle our packaging and waste.
Our products perfectly suit discerning Retailers, Café’s, Garden Centres and Food Halls where excellent quality counts.
